The Unitree R1 is a service-class humanoid robot positioned for light industry, the service sector, household applications, and scientific research and education. At ≈25 kg with a 1.21 m standing height, the R1 is significantly more compact than the G1 series, with a longer-stride leg geometry and an integrated speaker / microphone array for voice-driven interaction.

The family spans an entry-level Basic Version through six education configurations (EDU-U1 to U6), differentiated by compute (40 to 100 TOPS), head articulation, and dexterous hand options (Dex3-1 three-finger or Revo 2 five-finger, each available with or without tactile sensing).
